HLTA – Primary School (Long-Term Role) – Salford

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a fantastic Primary School in Salford, who are looking to appoint a confident and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys taking the lead in the classroom, supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2, and making a real impact on children’s learning and development.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Provide targeted interventions and small group support
• Support across KS1 and KS2 depending on school needs
• Work closely with class teachers and SLT to maintain high standards
• Create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience working within a UK primary school setting
• Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
• Confidence delivering lessons across a range of year groups
• A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach
