SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The school is a supportive and inclusive environment that is committed to providing high quality education, encouraging pupils to develop both academically and socially.
The school is looking to take on a full time SEN Teaching Assistant on a long term basis. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be working within a KS2 setting, supporting pupils with ASD and challenging behaviours, delivering tailored support and assisting with behaviour management within the classroom.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
• Experience working with children with SEND, particularly ASD
• Experience supporting challenging behaviours within a school setting
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Patience, resilience and a calm approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to support where needed
