Teaching Assistants in Cwmbran play a vital role within schools, whether on a temporary, long-term, or permanent basis. This position involves supporting teachers with classroom activities, preparing resources, and supervising pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs.

Key Requirements

• CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification, or a minimum of six months’ relevant experience
• Confidence in managing groups of pupils aged 11 to 16 and above
• Ability to maintain positive behaviour and keep pupils engaged
• Flexibility to work across various departments and with different age groups daily
