Teaching Assistant

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting a Year 4 class, delivering interventions, supporting learning through scaffolding and AFL, and working closely with pupils with SEND within a mainstream setting.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience
• Experience supporting within Key Stage 2 / KS2, ideally Year 4
• Ability to support learning using scaffolding and AFL strategies
• Experience delivering interventions to support pupil progress
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND within a mainstream setting
• A proactive, flexible and ‘can-do’ attitude
