About the Role:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across the Worksop area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students and teachers, helping to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ academic progress and wellbeing, both in the classroom and through small group or one-to-one support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities
  • Working with individuals or small groups of students to reinforce learning
  • Assisting students with additional needs, including SEN support where required
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Preparing classroom resources and supporting administrative tasks
  • Monitoring and recording student progress where appropriate

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
  • Experience working with young people (school-based, youth work, coaching, etc.) desirable
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training can be provided)
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA or degree) are advantageous
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
