TeacherActive is working with a large village primary school in Swansea, known for its welcoming ethos and supportive staff team. The school provides an inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to succeed.

The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join on a temporary long-term basis. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across the school, including those with ALN, so confidence working with additional needs is essential.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desired but not essential
• Experience working with children
• Experience supporting ALN
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Strong communication skills
• A patient and nurturing approach
