Salary: £14.26 - £18.00 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND setting in Bristol that provides high-quality education for pupils with complex needs, including autism, severe learning difficulties and sensory processing needs. The school offers a highly personalised and supportive environment, focusing on communication, emotional regulation and helping pupils engage positively in their learning.
The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant / LSA on a full-time, long term basis. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant / LSA will support pupils with ASD, sensory needs, and behaviours that challenge, working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver structured routines and individualised strategies.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant / LSA will have:
• Team Teach training (current or previous) or willingness to train
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly ASD and challenging behaviour
• A calm, nurturing and resilient approach
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
• A proactive attitude and commitment to supporting pupil development
• A driving licence or access to transport is desirable
