We are seeking skilled and dedicated SEND Tutors across Stoke-on-Trent to deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition to students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD and communication difficulties.

This is a highly rewarding role supporting young people who are currently outside of mainstream education or require additional, bespoke support. Sessions typically take place in the home or community settings, where you will implement tailored learning plans to re-engage students and build confidence.

This role is best suited to professionals who are confident working independently, can adapt quickly, and are committed to achieving meaningful progress with every learner.


The Successful SEND Tutor Will Have:

  • Proven experience working with SEND and/or SEMH learners

  • Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science

  • The ability to plan, deliver and adapt personalised learning programmes

  • Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation skills

  • A calm, resilient and consistent approach

  • A clear understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
