TeacherActive is proud to be working with welcoming Flying Start settings in Swansea, offering high-quality early years provision for young children. The settings promote a nurturing and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love for learning.

The settings are looking to take on a Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistants on a long-term temporary basis, working part-time hours across morning or afternoon sessions during term time. The successful Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant will support children aged 2½ to 5 years, delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS and supporting their social, emotional and developmental needs.

The successful Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant will have:
• Level 3 Childcare qualification
• Experience working within an early years or nursery setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Ability to communicate fluently in Welsh
• A caring and nurturing approach
• A proactive ‘can-do’ attitude
