About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team from May 2026 to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a part-time role for three days per week, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher looking to develop their skills in a Key Stage 2 setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons for a Year 3 class in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 1 (Year 3 experience desirable but not essential).
  • Be passionate about inspiring young learners and supporting their academic and personal development.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Be a team player who is willing to contribute positively to the school community.
