Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

Salary: £85 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an inner-city school in North Bristol / South Gloucestershire. The school provides a supportive and structured environment, with a strong focus on pastoral care, inclusion and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning through consistent support and positive relationships.
The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Behaviour Mentor on a long term, full time basis. The successful Behaviour Mentor will work Monday to Friday, supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis with SEMH needs, implementing behaviour strategies and working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support both in and out of the classroom.
The successful Behaviour Mentor will have:
• Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification or HLTA status
• Experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or in a pastoral role within a school setting
• Proven experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• A resilient, patient and proactive approach
• A driving licence with access to own transport
