Job Title: Science Teacher

Salary: £180 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Bellingham, who are looking to appoint a Science Teacher with a Chemistry specialism. The school has a strong reputation for supporting both staff and students, creating a positive learning environment where achievement and progression are highly valued.
The school is looking to take on a driven Science Teacher on a long-term basis starting in September. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching Science across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, with a focus on Chemistry. The Senior Leadership Team are committed to ensuring the successful Science Teacher is supported throughout the placement.
The successful Science Teacher will have:
• QTS with a Chemistry specialism
• Experience teaching Science up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
