Children's Residential Support Worker

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a children’s residential provider across Birmingham, who are looking to appoint a Residential Support Worker. The company supports children and young people from various backgrounds, creating safe, consistent and supportive environments where young people can feel heard, respected and secure.

The provider is looking to take on a part time Residential Support Worker to support children with a range of needs including SEMH, ASD and challenging behaviour. The successful Residential Support Worker will be expected to provide emotional and practical support, form strong relationships, promote positive routines and help children work towards positive outcomes.

The successful Residential Support Worker will have:

Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification

Experience working within children’s residential settings

Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH, ASD and challenging behaviour

A compassionate and caring approach

The ability to form strong, positive relationships with children and young people

Flexibility to work across residential shift patterns
