Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Sunderland

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £100 - £130 per day

• Are you confident delivering pre-set lessons across a range of secondary subjects?
• Do you have strong classroom management and the ability to engage students aged 11-16?
• Are you passionate about supporting young people in Maths, Science and other curriculum areas when required?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of supportive secondary schools across Sunderland who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a long-term basis. These schools promote a positive learning environment with strong behaviour policies and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

The schools are looking to take on a reliable Cover Supervisor to support across Maths, Science and a variety of other subjects when needed. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for managing classroom behaviour, delivering pre-planned work and ensuring students remain engaged throughout lessons.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

Experience working with secondary school students

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Confidence delivering lessons across a range of subjects including Maths and Science

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A proactive and adaptable approach to working within schools

A positive attitude and willingness to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4
