Salary: £100 - £130 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of secondary schools across Durham, who are looking to appoint Cover Supervisors on a temporary day-to-day basis. These schools are committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their best.

The schools are looking to take on reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisors who can confidently manage classrooms across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged in learning throughout the school day.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Excellent communication and organisational skills

The ability to confidently deliver pre-set lesson plans

A proactive and adaptable approach

A ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness to get stuck in
