TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Wakefield, who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a long-term basis. The school provides a positive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their best while developing confidence, independence and respect for learning.
The school is looking to take on a reliable Cover Supervisor to work across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 classes on a full-time, long-term contract. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout the school day.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Experience working within a secondary school environment
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Experience supporting KS3 and KS4 students
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
