Job Title: Performing Arts Teacher

Salary: £120 - £270 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Basildon, who are looking to appoint a Performing Arts Teacher. The school promotes a creative and inclusive environment, encouraging students to express themselves and develop confidence through the arts.
The school is looking to take on a driven Performing Arts Teacher on a long-term, full-time basis. The successful Performing Arts Teacher will be delivering lessons across KS3 to KS5, covering a range of disciplines such as Drama and general Performing Arts, while maintaining strong classroom management and supporting student progression.
The successful Performing Arts Teacher will have:
• QTS with a Performing Arts, Drama or related specialism
• Experience teaching Performing Arts across KS3 to KS5
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
