Salary: £100 - £115 per day

The school is committed to providing students with engaging practical learning opportunities and fostering creativity, confidence and achievement across the curriculum.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated DT Technician on a long-term basis from September. The successful DT Technician will support the Design Technology department by preparing materials and equipment for practical lessons, maintaining workshop safety standards, and assisting teachers in delivering engaging DT lessons across KS3 and KS4.

The successful DT Technician will have:

• Experience working within a workshop, school or practical DT environment
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a DT setting
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• The ability to prepare and maintain tools and equipment for practical lessons
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
