Early years assistant

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming early years setting in South Yorkshire, providing a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. The setting encourages curiosity, creativity and active learning through a variety of structured and play-based activities.

The setting is looking to take on an Early Years Assistant on a short-term cover basis, starting immediately. The successful Early Years Assistant will support children in their early development, assisting with daily routines and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.

The successful Early Years Assistant will have:

• Minimum of 6 months formal experience in an early years setting
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• Experience supporting children’s learning and development
• An engaging and enthusiastic approach
• A proactive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
