Job Title: English Teacher

Salary: £150 - £230 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Scunthorpe that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic English Teacher. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment, with a strong focus on student achievement, positive behaviour, and high-quality teaching throughout the school community.
The school is looking to take on a driven English Teacher on a temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning engaging lessons, monitoring student progress, and maintaining high expectations within the classroom.
The successful English Teacher will have:
QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
Strong classroom management skills
A passion for delivering engaging and creative lessons
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive and adaptable attitude
