The school is seeking to appoint a Head of Design Technology on a permanent, full-time basis from September. The successful Head of Design Technology will lead the department across Key Stages 3 and 4, driving high standards of teaching and learning while fostering creativity, enquiry and strong subject leadership within the team.

The successful Head of Design Technology will have:

• QTS with a specialism in Design Technology
• Proven experience teaching Design Technology across KS3 and KS4
• Previous leadership experience or the ability to step into a leadership role
• Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to drive departmental improvement
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• A proactive, ambitious and collaborative approach
