This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or current middle leader to drive excellence across a successful Humanities department.

The Role

As Head of Geography, you will:

• Lead and develop a dynamic Geography department
• Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3–5
• Inspire a love of learning and curiosity about the world
• Monitor progress and raise attainment across all ability levels
• Support and mentor staff within the department
• Contribute to whole-school improvement strategies

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level
• Strong leadership skills or readiness to step into a leadership role
• A track record of improving student outcomes
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A passion for Geography and innovative teaching
