Job Title: HLTA

Location: Pontypool

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £100 - £120 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and nurturing Primary School in Pontypool, who are looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA. The school prides itself on creating a supportive learning environment where staff are encouraged to build positive relationships with pupils and help them achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a confident HLTA on a full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful HLTA will be expected to support across different year groups, confidently deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher, and provide high quality classroom support throughout the school day.

The successful HLTA will have:

HLTA qualification or relevant classroom support experience

Experience working within a UK Primary School setting

Strong classroom management skills

The confidence and competence to lead classes independently

A positive and proactive attitude

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
