Job Title: Humanities Teacher

Salary: £172.98 per day (to scale if applicable)

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large and diverse secondary school in the heart of Cardiff to recruit a dedicated Humanities Teacher. This welcoming school has high expectations for teaching and learning and is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The school is looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher on a long-term basis from June. The successful Humanities Teacher will be teaching Humanities across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, with opportunities to support GCSE and A-Level learners. The role will require strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
The successful Humanities Teacher will have:
QTS with a Humanities specialism
Experience teaching Humanities up to Key Stage 4 / KS4 and ideally Key Stage 5
Excellent classroom management skills
A passion for delivering engaging Humanities lessons
The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
