Job Title: KS2 Year 5 Teacher

Salary: £150 - £195 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Redditch, who are looking to appoint a KS2 Year 5 Teacher for a maternity cover position. The school promotes a positive learning environment where both staff and pupils are encouraged to thrive, with a strong focus on collaboration and pupil development.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated KS2 Year 5 Teacher on a full-time, long-term supply basis from September 2026 until December 2026 to cover maternity leave. The successful KS2 Year 5 Teacher will take on full teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation, assessment, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Primary Curriculum.

The successful KS2 Year 5 Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2

• Strong classroom management skills

• Excellent knowledge of the Primary Curriculum

• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
