KS2 Teacher – Maternity Cover (Outstanding School)

We’re proud to be working closely with this exceptional school and are now seeking a passionate and committed KS2 Teacher to join them on a full-time maternity cover basis.
About the Role
Location: Nechells, Birmingham
Start Date: September 2026
End Date: July 2027
Contract: Full-time | Temporary (Maternity Cover)
You will be teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4), delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
In this role, you will:
✨ Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing meaningful feedback
Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment where every child can thrive
Work collaboratively with a friendly and experienced teaching team
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a calm and focused atmosphere

✅ What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a teacher who brings both experience and enthusiasm:
✔️ Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A proactive, adaptable, and positive approach
❤️ A genuine passion for inspiring and supporting young learners
Availability for the full duration of the maternity cover
