TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large and busy primary school in Cardiff to recruit a Learning Support Assistant. The school has a welcoming Early Years department with a strong focus on creating a positive and engaging learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and key social skills.

The school is looking to appoint a part-time Learning Support Assistant for the Autumn term, working mornings only on a long-term basis. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be supporting pupils within the Early Years department, assisting with classroom activities, supporting learning and development, and helping to maintain a safe and positive environment for all children.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working within an Early Years or Primary setting

• A caring and patient approach to supporting young children

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• A proactive and adaptable attitude

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
