Job Title: Teaching Assistant 1:1

Salary: £96.25 - £105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic Primary School based in Bristol, who are looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1Teaching Assistant .This child-centred school has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED rating and is known for its welcoming environment, inclusive ethos and supportive Senior Leadership Team.
The school is looking to take on a full-time Teaching Assistant 1:1 for a 1-year contract starting in September. The successful Teaching Assistant 1:1 will be working closely with a child with additional needs, supporting both academic and emotional development throughout the school day. This role would particularly suit a Psychology Graduate, Sports Graduate or someone looking to gain valuable experience before progressing into teaching, educational psychology or child development roles. Previous experience is not essential as full training and ongoing support will be provided. The school is looking for passionate individuals who genuinely enjoy working with children and are eager to make a positive difference every day.
The successful Teaching Assistant 1:1 will have:
A passion for working with children and supporting additional needs
A patient, caring and resilient approach
Strong communication and relationship building skills
A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
An interest in pursuing a career within education or teaching
