TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Rhondda Cynon Taff, who are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant. A setting that encourages learning through play and curiosity, the Learning Support Assistant will be able to demonstrate by example and get stuck into activities across all ages. There will be key values surrounding reading and writing, but also how this can pop up in every day life!

The school is looking to take on a well-rounded and nurturing Learning Support Assistant on a day-to-day basis, potentially for long term. Looking for a Learning Support Assistant who can work within a group of 3-6 children, the ideal candidate will be able to help children to develop their reading and language skills. The Senior Leadership Team are dedicated to ensuring the successful Learning Support Assistant will be supported and developed from day one.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (Level 2 welcomed)

• Education support experience in the UK

• Excellent classroom management
• Particular interest in reading and writing.
