Salary: £14.25 - £16.00 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming and supportive nurseries across the Gloucester area, who are looking to recruit experienced Nursery Practitioners for supply opportunities. The settings focus on providing safe, nurturing and engaging learning environments where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and key early learning skills.

The nurseries are looking to take on dedicated Nursery Practitioners on a flexible supply basis, with opportunities for both short-term and long-term placements. The successful Nursery Practitioner will be expected to support children across the Early Years age range, contribute to engaging activities and ensure children’s safety and wellbeing at all times.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification

• Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate

• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting

• Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum

• A positive and proactive attitude

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
