Are you confident teaching across the KS5 curriculum?

TeacherActive’s permanent recruitment branch are now seeking an experienced Maths Teacher for a partner school based in Westminster. The successful applicant will teach across the full Maths curriculum from Year 7 through Year 13, with KS5 experience essential. This is a non-selective secondary school which achieves excellent results across GCSE and A levels.

This secondary school sets high expectations for both staff and students, promoting academic excellence across all subjects and maintaining good behaviour. The Maths Department is knowledgeable and high performing. Extracurricular activities and cross-curricular collaboration are encouraged at this school, allowing staff and students to build a positive school community in and out of lessons.

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and confident classroom presence
• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Have a degree in Maths (or a closely related subject) and experience teaching KS5 Mathematics
• Foster positive relationships with your students, setting and maintaining high expectations
• Demonstrate high standards of professionalism
• Communicate clearly and confidently, verbally and in writing
• Hold UK Right to Work
