TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming private day nursery based in Tunbridge Wells, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant. This nursery provides a caring and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to develop through play, creativity and social interaction, while supporting every child’s individual learning journey.

The nursery is looking to take on a dedicated Nursery Assistant on a full-time long-term basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Nursery Assistant. The successful Nursery Assistant will be supporting children across the nursery setting, assisting with daily activities, supporting mealtimes and play sessions, and helping to create a safe and engaging environment for all children.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A caring and patient nature
• The ability to support children’s learning and development through play
• A willingness to learn and get stuck in
