Salary: £14.25 - £17.00 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming private day nursery based in Stockport, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner. This nurturing setting provides a warm and engaging environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love for learning through play-based activities and sensory experiences.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a full-time long-term basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Nursery Practitioner. The successful Nursery Practitioner will be supporting children aged 0-5 years across different rooms within the nursery, helping to deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum while ensuring a safe and caring learning environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years

Experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting

Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

A caring and patient nature

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A positive and adaptable approach to supporting young children
