Salary: £14.25 - £16.00 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of independent nurseries across the Stockport area, who are looking to appoint enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners for flexible work opportunities. These nurseries provide safe, nurturing and engaging environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and creativity. The settings pride themselves on creating warm and inclusive environments for both children and staff.

The nurseries are looking to take on flexible Nursery Practitioners on a short-term and long-term basis to support with day-to-day cover and ongoing staffing needs. The successful Nursery Practitioner will be required to support children across various age groups, helping to deliver stimulating activities in line with the EYFS curriculum while ensuring children feel safe, supported, and engaged throughout the day.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years

Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting

Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS curriculum

A positive and proactive attitude

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility and adaptability to work across different nursery settings
