TeacherActive is proud to be working with a lovely welcoming primary school based in Rochester, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Teacher. This warm and inclusive school provides a caring and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to build confidence, develop independence and enjoy their early learning journey through engaging and creative activities.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Nursery Teacher on either a full-time or part-time basis, with both long-term and short-term opportunities available to suit individual availability. The successful Nursery Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging EYFS lessons, supporting children’s social and emotional development, and creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment. There are both full-day and half-day shifts available, offering excellent flexibility, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Nursery Teacher.

The successful Nursery Teacher will have:

• QTS or EYTS
• Experience teaching within an EYFS setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A caring and nurturing approach to supporting young children
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and strong teamwork skills
