These settings focus on a child-centred and flexible approach, creating safe and supportive environments where learners can rebuild confidence and re-engage with education.
The role is for a Tutor / Teacher on a flexible, long term basis, delivering outreach, home tuition and alternative provision. The successful Tutor / Teacher will work 1:1 with pupils with SEND, SEMH, medical needs or those experiencing school refusal, requiring strong engagement skills, adaptability and a consistent, relationship-led approach. Planning and delivering personalised sessions tailored to each learner’s needs is essential.
The successful Tutor / Teacher will have:
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Strong experience working with SEND, SEMH or vulnerable learners
• Proven experience planning and delivering personalised 1:1 lessons
• The ability to build rapport and engage pupils in a 1:1 setting
• A child-centred, dynamic and adaptable teaching approach
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
