TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a dedicated PE Teacher. The school has a strong commitment to promoting student wellbeing, achievement and participation in sport, while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all learners.
The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic PE Teacher on a permanent contract with an immediate start available. The successful PE Teacher will be responsible for teaching Physical Education across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, delivering engaging practical and theory lessons while maintaining high standards of behaviour and attainment. The Senior Leadership Team are committed to supporting and developing the successful PE Teacher from day one.
The successful PE Teacher will have:
• QTS with a PE specialism
• Experience teaching PE across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• The ability to deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
