Primary HLTA

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a Primary HLTA on a long-term basis. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Primary HLTA to work across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2 on a full-time, long-term contract. The successful Primary HLTA will be responsible for supporting classroom teaching, delivering interventions, covering lessons where required and helping pupils to remain engaged and motivated throughout the school day.

The successful Primary HLTA will have:

• HLTA qualification or relevant classroom experience
• Experience supporting pupils within KS1 and KS2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to lead small group interventions and classroom activities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
