TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Newport, who are looking to appoint an experienced Primary Teacher. The school is committed to creating a supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to succeed, while staff are provided with strong leadership support and opportunities for professional development.

The school is looking to take on a full-time Primary Teacher from September 2026 on a long-term basis. The successful Primary Teacher will be leading a challenging Year 6 class, delivering engaging lessons across the Primary Curriculum while maintaining high expectations for behaviour, attainment and pupil progress.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

QTS

Extensive experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2

Experience teaching Year 6 pupils

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

The ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons

A resilient, confident and proactive approach to teaching
