Teacher Active are currently recruiting a passionate and committed Qualified Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive 2 form entry primary school in Newham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is keen to make a positive impact in a diverse, inclusive school community. The school offers a collaborative working environment, strong year group support, and opportunities across EYFS or KS1, depending on experience and preference.
The successful teacher will be joining a well-established team and will play a key role in supporting pupils academic progress, personal development and confidence in learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, inclusive and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive, nurturing and supportive classroom environment
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
- Assess, track and report on pupil progress effectively
- Manage behaviour positively and consistently in line with school policy
- Work closely with your year group partner, support staff, parents and the wider school team
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold safeguarding policies at all times
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, reflective and team-focused approach
- Passion for supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and development
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
