TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School based in Medway, who are looking to appoint a Reception Teacher. This lovely school provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing and early development. The school also benefits from fantastic outdoor learning spaces, encouraging creativity and hands-on learning throughout the Early Years curriculum.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Reception Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful Reception Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Early Years lessons, while also supporting pupils with SEN within the classroom. The Senior Leadership Team are committed to supporting the successful Reception Teacher throughout their placement and beyond.

The successful Reception Teacher will have:

QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)

Experience teaching within EYFS / Reception

Experience supporting children with SEN

Excellent classroom management

A positive and proactive approach to teaching

Strong communication and organisational skills
