TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Swadlincote, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher for intervention support. The school has a positive learning environment where staff work collaboratively to help pupils achieve their full potential, with a strong focus on pupil progress and academic success.
The school is looking to take on an experienced Primary Teacher on a part-time long-term basis, working every Thursday and Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The successful Primary Teacher will be delivering targeted interventions to Year 4 and Year 5 students, supporting pupils with SATs preparation and helping to boost attainment in core subjects across Key Stage 2 / KS2.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2
Strong knowledge of SATs preparation and intervention strategies
Excellent classroom management
A positive and engaging teaching style
The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
