Do you have experience working within an EBD residential home and managing challenging behaviours?

Do you hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and a full UK manual driving licence?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a residential care provider based in Burton upon Trent, supporting children and young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The setting provides a structured and nurturing environment, focused on building trust, stability, and positive outcomes for young people through a consistent and supportive team.

The residential setting is looking to appoint a Residential Support Worker on a full-time, permanent basis starting ASAP. The successful Residential Support Worker will support young people with EBD, helping to manage behaviours, promote independence, and ensure a safe and stable home environment while working as part of a dedicated care team.

The successful Residential Support Worker will have:
• Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification
• Experience working within an EBD residential setting
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Strong understanding of managing challenging behaviours
• A calm, resilient and patient approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and strong teamwork skills
