TeacherActive are proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a Science Teacher. This supportive school promotes a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential both academically and personally, with a strong focus on engagement and progression across the Science department.
The school is looking to take on a driven Science Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Science Teacher will be teaching across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, delivering engaging Science lessons while maintaining high expectations of behaviour, attainment and classroom management.
The successful Science Teacher will have:
QTS with a Science specialism
Experience teaching Science up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
Excellent classroom management
Strong communication and organisational skills
The ability to plan and deliver engaging Science lessons
A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
