Job Title: Qualified Teacher of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
Location: Exeter (Secondary Level)
Daily Rate: £130 - £150
Are you a dedicated and experienced Secondary School Teacher with expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? An exciting opportunity awaits you to join our team as a Qualified Teacher of SEND in Exeter, focusing on the unique learning needs of secondary school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and effective lessons specifically tailored to meet the diverse needs of secondary school students with SEND.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, including teaching assistants and support staff, to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as required to support individual learning goals.
- Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record in teaching secondary school students with SEND.
- In-depth understanding of various learning needs, coupled with the ability to tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with a dynamic team.
- Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere for all students.
