TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a Secondary LSA. This welcoming school has a strong focus on inclusion, student wellbeing and academic progress, creating a supportive environment for both staff and pupils.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Secondary LSA on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Secondary LSA will be supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, providing classroom support, promoting engagement and assisting students with their learning and development.
The successful Secondary LSA will have:
Experience working within a secondary school setting
A proactive and positive attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to support students with varying learning needs
Excellent behaviour management skills
A flexible and adaptable approach
