TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist provision based in Bury, supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where students are encouraged to develop both academically and emotionally. With a strong focus on inclusion, behaviour support and student wellbeing, the setting is committed to helping every young person achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated SEMH Teacher on a long-term, full-time basis. The successful SEMH Teacher will be working with students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, delivering engaging lessons and supporting students with additional behavioural and emotional needs. Strong behaviour management and the ability to build trust with students is essential for this SEMH Teacher role.

The successful SEMH Teacher will have:

QTS or relevant teaching qualification

Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

The ability to build positive and trusting relationships

A calm, resilient and adaptable approach

Experience delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
