Job Title: SEND Teacher
Location: Durham
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £120 - £140 per day

Do you have strong behaviour management and experience supporting students with additional needs?

Are you confident teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students in a SEND setting?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND school in Durham that provides a supportive and inclusive environment for students with additional needs. The school promotes a nurturing ethos, focusing on helping students build confidence, independence, and achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a day to day basis, working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The successful SEND Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, manage behaviour effectively, and support students with a range of additional needs within the classroom.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience working within a SEND setting
• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude
