The settings provide a structured and nurturing environment, with a strong focus on behaviour support, emotional wellbeing and helping pupils develop essential life skills.
The provisions are looking to appoint a SEND Behaviour Support Assistant on a part time basis with an immediate start. The successful SEND Behaviour Support Assistant will work closely with pupils with SEMH, ASD and behavioural needs, providing 1:1 and small group support to manage behaviour and encourage positive engagement in learning.
The successful SEND Behaviour Support Assistant will have:
• Experience working with children with SEND, particularly SEMH, ASD or behavioural needs
• A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
• Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Excellent communication skills
• Patience, resilience and a calm approach
• A proactive and positive attitude
