TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist provision in South Bristol that supports pupils across KS1 to KS3. The setting adopts a highly trauma-informed and nurturing approach, creating a supportive environment where pupils feel safe, understood and ready to learn.

The provision is looking to take on a SEND Primary Teacher on a permanent basis. The successful SEND Primary Teacher will be delivering a tailored curriculum to pupils with behavioural needs, supporting re-engagement with education and working closely with staff to plan next steps, including outreach support for pupils remaining in mainstream settings.

The successful SEND Primary Teacher will have:
• QTS or ECT status
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice
• Experience delivering differentiated and tailored curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• A resilient, patient and nurturing approach
